SkyWarn-Texas close to debut of new website

— Development of a new Skywarn-Texas.org web-site continue.

The web development team contiues to move forward with the development of a new and improved SkyWarn-Texas. They say that the site should debut no later than mid-March and will be ready for the 2009 Spring Storm Season.

Improvements on the site will include near-real time metro specific Satellite, NexRad Level II and new DopplerSR data from Storm Spotter Live, INC. A member e-mail area with (your.name@Skywarn-Texas.com) as well as a new special suite of software directed at Net Controllers, Emergency Managers, and Storm Spotters.

We look forward to the BETA rollout of ST 2009 and hope you are patient as we experience these growing pains together.
